Wyatt Wyckoff – Midas of Redding
At B&G Motorsports, our partners aren’t just sponsors—they’re driven individuals who reflect the same grit, determination, and commitment it takes to compete at the highest level. Few embody that spirit more than Wyatt Wyckoff, owner of Midas of Redding.
A Northern California native with deep roots in the community, Wyatt’s journey is built on discipline and perseverance. As a standout wrestler at Paradise High School, he rose to the top of California competition, capturing a California State Championship and earning scholarship offers from multiple universities—including several Ivy League programs.
Ultimately, Wyatt accepted a full-ride scholarship to the prestigious United States Military Academy, setting his sights on both academic excellence and a future as a U.S. Army officer.
But as often happens in both racing and life, adversity struck.
During a routine practice session, Wyatt suffered a devastating shoulder injury—tearing his rotator cuff, sustaining a near-complete labral tear, and significant AC joint damage. The injury abruptly ended his wrestling career, cost him his scholarship, and brought his military aspirations to a halt.

Where some might have stopped, Wyatt shifted gears.
Channeling the same work ethic and determination that made him a champion, he redirected his focus into business—building a career defined by leadership, growth, and long-term vision.
A major part of that foundation comes from family—especially his grandparents, Fred and Patricia Wyckoff. More than just supporters, Fred and Pat have been instrumental figures throughout Wyatt’s life. From his earliest days in athletics to his transition into business ownership, they have stood firmly in his corner.
Their role goes far beyond that of “silent partners.” Fred and Patricia played a key part in helping bring the acquisition of Midas of Redding to fruition, while also instilling the values, discipline, and business mindset that continue to drive Wyatt’s success today. Their influence can be seen in every aspect of the operation Wyatt leads.
Today, Wyatt owns and operates Midas of Redding, where he leads a dedicated team and continues to build a reputation for quality, trust, and community commitment. While currently operating a single location, his vision is much larger—plans are already in motion to expand throughout the North State, with a long-term goal of developing additional locations across the greater Northern California region, from Paradise to Redding and the communities in between.
Beyond business, Wyatt is a family man—married with a young daughter—and a firm believer in supporting and investing in the region he calls home. His “buy local” philosophy and hands-on leadership style have made him not just a business owner, but a respected figure in the North State.
That same commitment to community is what drives his partnership with B&G Motorsports.
We are proud to have Midas of Redding riding alongside us for the 2026 season as we chase the Super Late Model championship at Shasta Speedway. Partners like Wyatt don’t just support our program—they help fuel it.
